Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. They explain the rules for using Texas Local Finder and requesting quotes through our website.

Last updated: November 5, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Texas Local Finder ("we", "us" or "our") for the website texaslocalfinder.com (the "Site"). By using the Site or submitting a quote request, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Accepting these terms

You accept these Terms each time you visit, browse or submit a request through the Site. We may update them from time to time, as explained in Section 13.

2. What our service is

Texas Local Finder is an online lead generation service. We provide information for homeowners and a form where you can request a free quote for a home service. We then pass your request to an independent local company that may contact you.

Important: we are not a contractor, and we do not perform, supervise or guarantee any repair or home service. We are also not a directory, a referral agency that vets companies, or a party to any agreement between you and a company.

Using the Site and requesting a quote is free for homeowners. We may receive a fee from the companies that receive your request.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You must be the owner of the property, or have the owner's permission to request work on it. Our service is intended for properties in Texas.

4. Quote requests

When you submit a request, you agree that:

  • All the information you give us is true, accurate and complete, including your phone number and email address
  • We may share your request and contact details with one or more local companies, as described in our Privacy Policy
  • We and those companies may contact you by phone, text message and email about your request, including through automated technology, as described in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a company will contact you, that a company is available in your area, or that you will receive a particular price or response time. We may decline or remove any request at our discretion, for example if it appears false, abusive or duplicated.

5. Independent companies

The companies that receive your request are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents or partners in providing the work. This means:

  • Any quote, contract, price, schedule, warranty and work is a matter between you and the company
  • We do not set or control the prices, quality, safety or timing of their work
  • We do not guarantee that any company is licensed, insured, bonded or qualified for your job. Before hiring, please check licenses, insurance, references and written quotes yourself, and compare more than one company
  • You are free to choose any company, or none at all. You are never required to hire a company that contacts you

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading or fake information, or requests for other people without their permission
  • Use the Site for any illegal, harmful or abusive purpose
  • Use bots, scrapers or automated tools to collect information from the Site or to submit forms
  • Try to interfere with the Site, break its security, or gain access to areas you should not access
  • Copy, resell or republish our content or leads without our written permission

We may block access or take other action if we believe these rules have been broken.

7. Intellectual property

The Site, including its text, design, logo, graphics and code, belongs to Texas Local Finder or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute or use our content or branding for any other purpose without our written permission.

If you send us comments or feedback, you allow us to use them freely without any payment to you.

The Site may link to websites or services run by others, including the companies that contact you. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or services. Using them is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without any promise or warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent the law permits, we disclaim all warranties, including those of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Information on the Site, such as repair signs, cost ranges and guides, is general and for information only. It is not professional, engineering, legal or financial advice and should not replace an on-site inspection by a qualified professional. Actual costs and solutions depend on your property and the company you choose.

We do not promise that the Site will always work without interruption or errors, or that it is free from viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, Texas Local Finder and its owners, employees and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, profits, data or property, arising from your use of the Site, or from any work, advice, conduct or failure of a company you contact through the Site.

If we are found liable to you for any reason, our total liability will be limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us, which for homeowners is normally nothing. Some places do not allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Texas Local Finder and its owners, employees and partners from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) that arises from your misuse of the Site, your false information, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that arises from these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you agree to their jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.

13. Changes and termination

We may change these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the new Terms.

We may suspend or end your access to the Site at any time, without notice, if we believe you have broken these Terms or misused the Site. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, such as those on disclaimers, liability and governing law, will continue to apply.

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will stay in effect. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
