Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you request a quote, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: November 5, 2026In this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the website texaslocalfinder.com ("Texas Local Finder", "we", "us" or "our"). By using our website or submitting a quote request, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Texas Local Finder is an online lead generation service. We help homeowners in Texas request free quotes for home services. We are not a contractor and we do not perform the work ourselves. When you submit a request, we pass it to an independent local company that may contact you about your project.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in our quote form, we collect:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your ZIP code, and the city or area where the work is needed
- The service you want and any details you write about your project
- Any message you send us through our contact page
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we and our service providers may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, the website that referred you, and the date and time of your visit.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Process your quote request and match it with a local company that serves your area
- Share your request with that company so it can contact you
- Reply to your questions and provide customer support
- Understand how our website is used, and improve it
- Measure our advertising and marketing
- Prevent spam, fraud and misuse of our website
- Meet legal obligations
4. Who we share it with
We do not publish your personal information. We share it only in these ways:
- Local service companies. The main purpose of our service is to send your request to a company that may contact you about your project. Those companies may be paid by us or may pay us for the request. They use your information under their own privacy practices.
- Service providers. These include website hosting, form handling, email delivery and analytics providers that help us run the website. They may only use your information to provide those services to us.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
- Business changes. If our business is sold or merged, your information may be transferred to the new owner.
Depending on the law that applies to you, passing your request to a company in exchange for payment may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. See Section 7 for your choices.
5. Calls, texts and emails
When you submit our form, you agree that we and the local companies receiving your request may contact you by phone, text message and email about your request. This may include calls or texts made with automated technology, even if your number is on a do-not-call list. Your consent is not required to buy any goods or services.
Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. To stop calls or emails, tell the caller or use the unsubscribe link, or contact us using the details in Section 11.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website working, remember your settings, and understand how visitors use our pages. We may use analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics, that set their own cookies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do. Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals, but we honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where the law requires it.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, including Texas, you may have the right to:
- Find out what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising
- Appeal if we turn down your request
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law allows. We will not treat you unfairly for using your rights. Deleting your information with us does not delete copies already held by a company that received your request, so please contact that company too.
8. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
We keep your information only as long as needed to handle your request, run our business, and meet legal requirements. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Our service providers and our team may be located outside the United States, so your information may be processed in other countries, which may have different data protection rules.
9. Children's privacy
Our website is for homeowners and adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Please check back regularly. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
